Lexington Dolphins

The Lexington Dolphins is a swim team for young people ages 6-18 sanctioned by USA Swimming. They are a parent-owned non-profit club with an outstanding coaching staff and dedicated volunteers and swimmers. Dolphin’s swimmers have gone on to distinguished college careers and the US Olympic Team.

Lexington Dolphins is a USA Swimming Silver Medal Club and a USA Swimming Level 1 Club. Their designation as a Silver Medal club recognizes that they are committed to performance excellence in swimming, specifically that they:

  • Promote the development of strong, well-rounded age group and senior swimming programs that produce elite 18 & under athletes
  • Provide recognition and resources to motivate and assist member clubs to strive for the highest ideals of athlete performance.

Their designation as a USA Swimming Level 1 Club recognizes that they also have achieved a high level of organizational excellence in:

Mission Statement: The Lexington Dolphins purpose is to foster and encourage amateur swimming. They participate in swimming competitions that support the development of young swimmers. The Lexington Dolphins encourage the participation of all swimmers, regardless of income, sex, race, color, religion or national origin.
